Denimex is a partnership based in Lenham, Kent which was established in 1991 to supply good quality livestock health and husbandry products into the UK agricultural and veterinary markets at competitive prices.

As farm management methods have evolved over the years we have adjusted our product range to match requirements. We take the view that if we cannot offer better price, better quality or better service then we should not enter that market sector.

Back in 1999 we saw an opportunity to enter the animal identification market where prices were high and service was somewhat relaxed. The launch of our ear tag range was very successful and resulted in our competitors raising their game – although not quite high enough in most cases! 10 years later and still no other tag supplier can turn an order for cattle replacement tags around and despatch it as quickly as us – try us and prove it for yourself!

The introduction of electronic identification of sheep has been a challenge for both farmers and suppliers. We were against EID from the beginning, feeling it was largely unnecessary, and have not changed our view. However, having had it foist upon us, we will use our best endeavours to make it straightforward and price/performance competitive.

Denimex is approved by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate for both the retail and wholesale supply of animal medicines. The partnership holds a registration with the Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority permitting the prescribing of animal medicines.

From 2003 – 2009 our ear tag mould tools were based in ISO9001 Quality Approved moulding companies. In July 2009 we commissioned our own mould shop and have been manufacturing our cattle tags in the industrial unit next door to us. Our machines run 24 hours/day and we have total control over quality and helps us to peg prices – our cattle and sheep tags have been the same price for 10 years.
